Ah Annie, she has turned quite pink with age! THis is a gorgeous one...I prefer her blue though!

So do I Karen, I didn't think about it when I was re-potting but have blueing agent now, having said that I do have three shades of Hydrangea on my patio.

..yes, which is nice variety!

Yeh...but it's still going back to blue!

yes, I should say so. It look so great with the white cross in it...not as effective against pink really...easy fixed though!

I'm waiting patiently for mine to flower so I can see whether it is the pink or blue one that has made it! I do hope it's the blue one, but as I fed them both with sequestrate in the spring, they would probably both have ended up blue anyway!

Lovely pink Annella..but disappointing when you prefer the blue one..How about a 'Mrs Slocombe' blue rinse ? Lol.

Very pretty. Nice to see flowers! No flowers on mine, I have around four young ones but no flowers, I think they must be varieties that flower on old wood and they suffered such a hard winter and were lucky to survive I guess. Any suggestions welcome. :)

This is 10 years old now Dawn and I always wait until late spring to trim off the dead flowers . Then I prune back to the next new leaf buds. Looks horrible in the winter with all the dead stuff on but it seems to work + this is facing north east so not the warmest of spots.

Lovely.......this is very similar to ours which we have in the ground, will try and get in the border and take a pic, so we can compare, it also started life blue in a friends pot!!

I saw the pic you put on Dotty and was going to comment. I think they look the same, the cross markings are very distingtive.

Thanks for your valuable advice Annella, going to make a note for future reference.
