Hi everyone, last year after the very cold winter, my trachycarpus fortuneii flowered for the first time, this year after an even colder winter{minus 22 c} it,s flowering again, but this year about a month earlier, it seems to be that the colder it gets the better it performs. As anyone else found this?
regards derek

Is it the cold, or the recent hot, dry weather--or maybe the combo?!

A chap i work for has a few Dicksonia Antarticas, which were well protected through the harsh winter, and they have put so much growth on with so many new fronds, i have also noted on my travels that Picea, Abies, thuja etc are looking fantastic with so much new growth, julien.
