I never have enough space , we just get carried away lol
just planted up some "Muscadet lilies" into terracotta tom pots , I use them to in fill gaps in the borders especial when friends or family are coming around.

Sounds lovely, I've just had another couple of kniphofia Tawny King my other survived winter but it was mild wasn't it, and a persicaria orange field, a new day lily Canadian Border Control from Coblands , I have got some gaps as we (me and hubby) are redoing some of the borders yet again lol keep changing my mind and some plants need lifting etc :-))

I have a mini collection of kniphofia I am glad it was mild while they get settled in, Tawny King is a good un and once they get settled in they are a lot tougher as long as the spot is well drained ...

I found Chichi it was the last one as well .... I need to bulk it up ...

I have been moving daylilys over the weekend ... and a feed of growmore over all the borders even the lawn looks yellow so much rain over the winter has washed out any nutrients in the soil. Just the top dressing and thats the big jobs over with.

Glad I chose a good kniphofia then, itching to get stuff done now, we managed to give the lawn first cut today too :-)
