The large green waste bags

can be very useful this time of year.
I am spring cleaning my greenhouse, whilst the weather
is warm, and cleaning the glass, to leave it tidy with bulbs planted in pots and planters for an indoor spring show -
not bashed about by gales and bad weather.
I am scrubbing all my seed trays in the water butt with
a stiff brush. Letting them dry in a stack overnight.
Then bagging up in one of the green waste bags tied
at the top to put away for the winter under the staging.

You are well organised then Diane, I have made a start on my bottom g'house but the one nearest the house still has tomato's and peppers ripening, working my way around the garden sorting out as much out as I can whilst the weather is good but having to divide my time between garden and the bathroom as I'm preparing it for painting.....

Best to take those Tomatoes indoors in the warm. Put
away in a spare drawer before the frosts start.
On Beechgrove Garden the lady showing how to preserve
vegetables wrapped Cucumbers in kitchen roll. I had
never thought of that. She has done a Fact Sheet, its on
their website. Might be useful.
