Commonly known as castor oil plant. Evergreen, with stout, soarsley branched stems bearing large, leathery, palmately-lobed leaves and small white flowers in terminal compound umbels, followed by small black fruits.
Medium-sized, spreading habit, palmately-lobed leaves to 45cm in width.
Suckering habit.
Sheltered exposure.
Full sun/partial shade.
Ultimate height 2.5m to 4m.
Ultimate spread 2.5m to 4m.
Hardiness H5.
South,east or west facing aspect.
