Goringfolly's Garden

Genus: Mimulus.

Species: Mimulus.

Not sure of the exact variety as it is one that has been 'passed down' in the family. It seems to like a damp setting as here by my pond. In Elizabethian times it was apparently a climbing plant but lost that ability at some stage. I also know it as 'Blood on gold'. The Incas grew it and the yellow represents the gold whilst the red is the blood that was spilt.
