A very short Manual of the Warrior of Light (all by P.Coelho)

William Blake used to say that we can see the infinite in a grain of sand and eternity in a flower.

That is where the great problem resides: we almost never allow ourselves to realize that the present moment in itself holds all the glory.

It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.

Every Warrior of the Light has felt afraid of going into battle.
Every Warrior of the Light has, at some time in the past, lied or betrayed someone.
Every Warrior of the Light has trodden a path that was not his.
Every Warrior of the Light has suffered for the most trivial of reasons. Every Warrior of the Light has, at least once, believed he was not a Warrior of the Light.
Every Warrior of the Light has failed in his spiritual duties.
Every Warrior of the Light has said ‘yes’ when he wanted to say ‘no.’
Every Warrior of the Light has hurt someone he loved.
That is why he is a Warrior of the Light, because he has been through all this and yet has never lost hope of being better than he is.

Thank you, Steragram. Paulo Coelho is my favourite author. Not very brilliant in style, but I like his philosophy. He reminds me Antoine de Saint-Exupéry in some moments. I thought, some of his quotes just fit to my pictures :)))

Thank you SL. Did you notice my thumb? It was unintentional, yet made me angry when I loaded the photo in my laptop. It was very sunny, so I did not notice it outside...

Kat, I'd never heard of Coelho, but like you I do love Saint Exupery, especially Le petit prince.

Paulo Coelho is very popular in Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries and in Eastern European countries, where he replaced Umberto Eco. Has his blog on internet, too, there are thousands young people discussing with him :)

Bornagain@ I do not know if you grow younger if you discuss with P. Coelho. But we are not defeated when we lose: we are defeated when we quit :))
