Sepulchre of the countess of roses (for Sticki).

Hi Sticki,

I will not write a long essay this time, as I wrote a large blog on this topic a year ago. I just wanted to show you that starry sky ceiling of the sepulchre in Dolna Krupa. This is the place were is buried the most famous breeder of roses in Austrian-Hungarian monarchy, countess Chotekova.
This sort of architecture with “sky above heads” was common among nobles at that time, till the WWII.

And her roses. They are thornless.

sorry to say that because the ceiling is domed, it also reminded me of a colander!!! trust me not to appreciate something seriously!

Lol. You are right! Those stars have small perforations, so during the day if you watch up you have impression of a starry sky ...and of colander as well.
