they are beautiful animals arent they. We have several foxes that trundle through the village, but the egg framer isn't too happy about them as they 'eat into' his profits; literally.

Amazing creatures, hopefully this one will not be hunted or squished into the tarmac like many are. Some fantastic pics you have of him/her thank you for sharing.

Eileen, I agree, they are beautiful creatures, but, can destroy a chicken coop in seconds I can imagine!

It definitely seemed to be enjoying some quiet time, relaxing in the warm spring sunshine, Sue.

Many thanks, Cal! I, too, hope it’s not going to come in to any danger from trucks or cars. I’ve seen so many poor little animals this past couple of weeks by the roadside..it’s terribly sad.

It’s crazy how much wildlife is lost to road kill, My partner tells me pretty much everyday he drives back from work that he’s seen badgers, deers, pheasants, foxes, hedgehogs etc that have been hit. I can’t remember where it is but it’s not the uk but they do passovers covered in grass where there is heavy traffic of animals for crossing so they can get over motorways and busy roads to prevent this. Surely this would help them as well as benefit us in the long run.

I have to agree, Cal. It’s awful the numbers I’ve seen recently seem to be higher than ever before. I e pretty much spotted the same wildlife as your partner. I drive all around the Lincolnshire countryside/villages etc..it’s sad to see this. Especially when some look like they’ve been absolutely slaughtered and others look like they’re sleeping.
The idea you mentioned - if it’s abroad - sounds a solution. I only wish…

I know it’s so sad, we can only hope. I would say why I think it’d never happen here but that’d be off topic lol.
