At the veg patch today.

Barbara and I netted the raspberries, dug up some potatoes, cleared the broad beans bed, sorted out the compost bins. I brought home tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, broad beans, runner beans and beetroot.
What to plant next?

Nice to see a well tended vegetable plot.
My raspberries have finished now. The birds went mad for them this year. I'll have to net them too next year I think.

Looks like you are getting a good return for your money, Linda!

I had to give up my allotment a few years ago & even Gerry had to give up his this year. 😩

It has been hard work, but so far well worth it.

We have prepared the soil ready for planting seeds. Last night was very wet and windy so it will be later in the week before Barbara and I get started.
It is much needed rain but I can do without the wind.
Thanks Pb.
