June garden

A warm June day in the garden. Cutting the hedge was hard work.
I have grown some Ammi from seed. It looks tall and refined. A time for Roses.

Your colours are very subtle and attractive. However, I do like the fiery colours of your Lychis chalcedonica. It's one of my favourite garden plants.

I do like the part of the garden with the hedge around it - how smart the hedge looks by the way!!!
You have some lovely roses which must be at their best at the moment. We have had a lot of rain in the south west and our roses are suffering now.
Don't work so hard today!

I like the Lychis too, Anget. It is just beginning to flower but once it opens it is wonderful.
I grew it from seeds from Pollok Park in Glasgow. It germinates very easily.
It has been quite dry here in Scotland, Wildrose. We always have the opposite weather from the South.
The hedge creates a room for garden dinning. Lovely in a summer evening.
The Roses are great at the moment, Balcony but I agree with Wildrose, too much rain spoils the flower.

Lovely pics, Linda. Beautiful roses! Lots of interest going on as usual. I do love a tall, linear, green hedge. Your looks immaculately trimmed to perfection!

It is hard work but very rewarding Kate.
