Everything in your garden is so neat! You put me to shame.. Is this where "Marjorie" is going? She is an attractive clematis and will fit well.

'Marjorie' is in the pot,Ang...should look pretty there.
One we should have thought years ago,Rose.

What a good idea, I think I'll copy you, my bins are in full sight and an eyesore.

Look forward to seeing that,Hywel.

You have the most immaculate, pristine ‘bin area’, Julia!

Looking good, and that's before the Clematis has taken off!

Yes,I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows next year,Shirley.....long way to water though.

Will the pot be safe if there are heavy frosts?
25 Nov, 2021
It's more protected there,Shirley than where it was positioned before...

Looks great,Julia,i'm lucky that ours are out of sight ,on a side path behind a gate and a wall, but I love your idea of the Clematis to screen them as well ..:o)

You definitely win the bin prize!
27 Nov, 2021
Thank you Bloomer and Stera..I'll accept the prize!
Once the Clematis has taken off the bins will be more camouflaged.

Julia, in the late afternoon yesterday, a strong gust of wind blew over a large pot containing a Camellia. Luckily it is still intact and no longer standing on the three pot feet ... just the gravel top dressing to sweep up ... :o(
28 Nov, 2021
You were very lucky with the Camelia,Shirley...here there were sudden ferocious gusts which could easily uplift a pot...our Welsh flag was ripped away from the post...had a little chuckle to myself...perhaps I can fly the Union Jack there!!!
28 Nov, 2021
Julia, I bet that's wishful thinking!
29 Nov, 2021
Certainly is,Shirley!! Welsh one takes pride of place ha ha.
