Fantastic! A conifer garden with a wonderful selection and a great presentation in a small front garden space. It must be tremendously interesting to those who pass by it.

I agree. Are the first 3 pines? I really like the shape of those. And the last one. They're all interesting and you've displayed them well. I always have the impression that conifers are difficult to place, don't know why.

I love them as well, we used to have a lot more in our garden, all planted in 1980, be warned they stay small for a lot of years but once into growing mode they can become very large and outgrow their space, sadly we had to cut three down about 3yrs back, all of them were dying, I tried for a lot of years to save them to no avail and they became unsightly, plus I was worried about their stability, impossible to get the main trunks and roots out so they now provide structure in my stumpery., I do like a bit of recycling Paul.

They look great, especially while they are small. I like the last droopy one, we’ll all really except the big tall one. They are not so cute at that size. How did they all cope with the drought?

Same lincslass , bout a rare one once but very fast growing and leylandiis I am found of too , only me lol. Gone . Others have just browned and then vine weevil .

Thank you Feverfew . Some cope whilst others hate it.

Lots of great conifers there, Paul! 😀

Do you have a picture of the blue one? We can see the tops of some branches in photo#3 but you haven't included a photo of it on its own.

Near to our flat in Cuenca, Spain, there used to be a gigantic blue conifer & I loved to see it. The last time we were over there, for my mother-in-law's funeral nearly six years ago, I saw that it had been removed & another, much younger, blue conifer had been planted in its place. i have no idea if it is still growing or if it's even still there.
