Walled Gardens are not what they seem

Walled Gardens are not what they seem

Winter is almost upon us and many gardeners will be thinking about protecting their plants for the months ahead. And the majority of gardeners believe a walled garden offers the most protection. My experience has been the complete opposite. . .

Wow! I always thought it would be nice to have a fully enclosed garden, I realise now that I have been under a misapprehension, that could explain why, since erecting a new piece of fence, my patio cherry tree in its container is always getting blown over. The wind is now glancing off of the fence and the shed and turning back on itself creating a vortex effect. I can rectify this now, thanks Muddywellies. Brilliantly interesting blog on your website.
