These are soooo enormous Bernieh! I love the shady feel of this one. Beautiful shot.

They can get to 30 feet GT ... and are absolutely beautiful. This was one of my favourites areas of the Roma Street Parkland - it's called the Fern Gully and it's such a magnificent walk under these beauties.

They are magnificent Mushy and I wish I could grow them here ... but far too dry and hot!

Louise - this is a truly beautiful spot in the parklands. All you have to do is point the camera somewhere and you'll get a great shot.

These are my favourite tree ferns - it's commonly known as the Australian tree fern because it is one of the most commonly grown over here (although not in my part of Oz).

A beautiful Park Bernieh , it looks so cool ........

This particular spot - the Fern Gully - is really cool ... considerably cooler than the other parts of the parkland on any given day. It's quite amazing when you walk through it and then walk out the other side ... you can feel the temperature change.

What else?

See who else is growing Cyathea cooperi (Lacy Tree Fern).

See who else has plants in genus Cyathea.

This photo was taken at Roma Street Parklands - Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (labelled as Enoggera Park).
