White Cedar rainforest tree (Melia azedarach var.australasica)

Tropical rainforest tree growing on our rainforest block .During a high wind storm was blown down . It made an almighty thump when it hit the ground ,the fruits are poisonous,to mamals but birds eat them without effect

Amazing that the birds can eat the fruits and not come to harm....

I did read the reason for this somewhere , it was because the birds have different digestive ability to mamals or other animals .I must try and find that info. again, when I GET TIME. I have a laugh to myself when I hear people say " We are retiring soon , then we will have plenty of time "
