The wet season downunder: The view over our city ...

Usually when you get to the top of this rise, you would see our city stretched out before you and our 300 metre high monolith named Castle Hill in the background.

It looks like the weather we had last week.
Take care.

We're still under a severe weather warning today ... there's supposed to be even more heavy rain on the way!

It's the same again here today ... it's early morning and now the wind gusts have started again.

Ha ... probably wouldn't go astray today Sue. We're expecting king tides as well ... so there's going to be lots of flooding around our city today!!

It varies Homebird ... it depends on the strength of the monsoonal trough or the cyclones that cause this weather. Last year our 'wet' lasted for nearly a month ... this year it's only been a couple of weeks - but they've been uncommon for us during the past 20 years.
