Chinese Lantern Plants - from Poundland

Chinese Lantern Plants - from Poundland (Physalis alkekengi (Alkekengi))

I bought 4 bare roots from Poundland in April '10. 1 bare root a dead-loss, the other 3 on a good day could be viable. I can't remember how much they cost ;o)

I didn't dare plant the 3 in open ground - instead potting the 3 in there own 1 litre pots in a 50/50 mix of soil from a bed and multi purpose compost.

All 3 are away and putting on legs as of June '10

What else?

See who else is growing Physalis alkekengi (Alkekengi).

See who else has plants in genus Physalis.
