Saxifrage Silver Velvet (Saxifraga fortunei)

I love these Autumn Saxifrage, this is a new one. The foliage is a thick & fleshy nearly black.

I think this is one of my best ones, I have quite a few now. It does look rather tender because of the fleshiness of the leaves but I think it will be okay, & of course they do die down a bit during the summer months. A lot of people think they have lost them untill they find they have dug the roots up.

See who else is growing Saxifraga fortunei.

See who else has plants in genus Saxifraga.
