I have only posted a pic of this because I asked a question about it and one of the replies almost suggested that it didn't exist. Well it really does!

I have no idea what your question was but are you sure its Greengage they are normally green when ripe that looks like Plum,or is the Greengagee to to the left of the picture?

Yes Bjs, the greengage is to the left of the plum with a damson further left. Not enough to make a pie this year, but ok for breakfast I guess.

Lucky you to have a greengage tree, I love greengages, don't see it in the supermarket much :(((

You are right Michaella they are not often on sale, however yesterday I saw punnets in Sainsbury for £1 - I guess there must be a glut, along with lots of other summer fruits.

My greengage has fruited extremely well this year. So sweet, I love them. There are loads of damsons too for jamming this year. I lost my Victoria plum last year.
