I like them too, Alex...but it gets like that here as well - so many you can't give them away!
I planted this fig this year - cunning plan to get around irrigation restrictions...fruit among flowers!!

I can see those enviable sunbeams through the tree!!! Can only guess it is really warm there?How lucky.What is the latin name for the fig tree k?!!!!

The children have been sunning themselves at the pool so I've snuck indoors! :))

My fig tree's just a baby, Pixi...it's only got three figs so far! lol!
It's later on when the neighbours start leaving baskets of them on your doorstep! :))

I will be politely declining all baskets of fruit this year...the kitchen is just too hot at the moment to be standing making preserves!!! And I won't have time later!
