Weeping Japanese Maple

Weeping Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum (Japanese maple))

Planted this 3-4 years ago and it has had spectacular fall color every year. Foliage turns late and the color is short-lived here since temps rapidly drop this time of year. Still it's very pretty, the picture doesn't come close to showing how bright the red is right now. Botanical name is Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Inaba Shidare'

Thank you, I trim the bottom every Spring so the foliage doesn't hide the trunk entirely. I like how you can see the green bark whenever it rains.
