Motty, it's a rare event for me to photo a bird of any kind ... but this one stayed around while we planted two trees today ... landed very close to my feet but was gone in a second! ... :o) .......

Lovely that you have a pair of robins nesting close by.

Our neighbours have a very large Bay tree, more of a huge shrub, and it has a pair of Blackbirds and the Robins nests within ... so pleased to have them in the garden ... :o)

WHen we lived down the road we had an ivy against the fence that the robins always nested in and it was lovely to see them coming and going feeding the babies.
