The Garden Community for Garden Lovers



This bush is at the back of the garden, positioned in front of the compost bins. I'm hoping to grow it a bit more so that it hides the bins. I just love those cheery flowers.

did you know Webbs have the national collection of potentillas? i hadnt realised until this week and i have lived in this area for years!! they are currently re-vamping the display area.

Yes. Been there and seen it several times (even when they were making it). Webbs is only 19 miles from us. I also liked the bamboozelum.

Not been to Webbs for ages now. I felt it got too big and started to cater as a stopping off place for M5 coach parties once the new section opened. If you get there at the wrong time fifty people get off a coach and start queueing at the restaurant. We used to have lunch at the The Thatch, which was excellent, but I think the food is very average now and I see they've even 'comercialised' that ....

I much prefer smaller garden centres/nurseries where things are more relaxing.

cant say i blame you! if you are really unlucky there might be 3 or 4 coaches!!

i remember the thatch restaurant, i never got in ~ the queue was always too long!!
