so this is a Larkspur then Lori ? What height does it reach if you have that info?
Just googled larkspur images, wonder if there is a miniature variety?

this one is about 12-14 inches tall, Bampy. I have other plants growing in the nursery bed...they have been taken by our frost last night...sadly they never had a chance to bloom. Amy had a look about her garden and found it. How did the images compare with this, then? the lacy leaves seemed larkspurious!

Pretty flower. Shame about the frost. Frosts in UK too but not in Essex, so far.

I must put up a picture...the Salvia is dead but the little larkspur is going to blossom...and we've had temps marginal to freezing in the day time. Lovely of my ancestors.

What else?

See who else is growing Consolida orientalis (Larkspur).

See who else has plants in genus Consolida.
