Interesting trees & wow what a blue sky. Some parts of G Britain under snow, but sunny & very cold where I am in Surrey.

Thanks! We almost always have a blue we don't get much rain here in San Diego. We're also heading into a bit of a heatwave, maybe 90ºF (32ºC) or warmer by Wednesday through Saturday for inland San Diego.

You're most likely thinking of Dracaena marginata, which grows very widely outdoors here, also.

Dracaena draco can become a gigantic tree in about 3,000 years. LOL! :>)

Dracaena draco wouldn't make such a good houseplant because it has such high light level requirements.

There's so many species of Dracaena, and they all grow outside here and can grow pretty tall.

Here's a photo of a very tall old one.
