Clethra alnifolia 'Ruby Spice'

Clethra alnifolia 'Ruby Spice' (Clethra alnifolia (Sweet Pepperbush))

I have two of these, this one opened up a beautiful deep pink and the other is very light pink (last year was deep pink). Nice to have something this fragrant late in the season.

Again new to me bit surprised it is hardy down to -15c apparently grows to about 2.5 mtrs but how long it takes I have yet to find out.
Thanks for showing.

I know it is hardy to at least -20f and 2.5m sounds about right. They grow fast when they're younger but slow down after a few years. They're great plants for wet areas but can really turn yellow if the pH is too high.
