Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream'

Mine has never looked as good as this and I'm running out of places to try putting it.

I think it has definitely been 'The Autumn of the Acer!'

I agree with Annie. mine looks dreadful. I'm leaving it to see if another year will establish it. But my Sango Kaku has come out of the soil and gone in to a pot on the house wall. It had died back quite badly.

Ann, this is against the house wall and faces North, well out of the wind too!

Karen it doesn't get much sunshine either!

Ours improved a lot when we found it a very sheltered spot with only dappled sunlight. It had been in a number of less successful places before that!

It's all trial and error, this gardening lark!
