Abutilon megapotanicum - 2015

By Andrewr

Abutilon megapotanicum - 2015 (Abutilon megapotamicum)

Although this has a reputation for being on the tender side, I have found it to be a tough customer. It was planted in the autumn of 2003 and trained against a south facing trellis in well drained soil. When we had a few mild winters, it flowered non stop for two and a half years! After the bad one a few years ago, it was killed to the ground, but regrew to five feet the following year.
