Anemone 'September Charm' with variegated Myrtle behind

Anemone 'September Charm' with variegated Myrtle behind

I love the two-tone effect on this Anemone, and the way the pink is picked up by the Myrtle. I can see this clearly from my living room window and it's very cheerful!

Definitely mean autumns on it way when I see these. I have a huge clump that needs something doing to it, not sure what tho!

They are quite hard to dig out GF, so get your sharpest spade in there!

Thanks for the warning, the clump is far too huge to divide like normal perennials.

I am waiting to see if I brought this one with me from my old garden but, I'm rather hoping that it is another one 'Queen Charlotte' which is smaller .September Charm grew huge in my old garden so it would be too big for my new borders.

Yes, Charlotte is very pretty. Sept. charm is perfect in this spot. It hovers around the shrubs perfectly.

Yes. It was fine alongside the big Dahlias in my old garden but theses borders are much shallower.

I think mine is probably Anemone, Robustissiama as it has pale pink flowers & it about 4ft tall.
