Well done.......I meant to get my camera out and take a shot but forgot all about it until this morning when I saw all the pics on Breakfast TV.

I didn't have my watch with me Paul but after 2-30 am. I haven't got an expensive camera to get the shot any clearer but it is something to keep. Thanks both.
It never ceases to amaze me how magnificent the universe is, and we are just a very small part of it.

I managed to remember the shading of the moon and set the alarm. I set the alarm for 3am and saw it a bit more advanced than your picture. Very fascinating event. Not another one for some time to come either.
