that is a new one for me, how amazing and so pretty. Nice deep color and rather full. I will look it up. Agree with Homebird, a cross?

Wells - I don't know if it is a cross. It is listed as a form of crocus chrysanthus, a highly variable species with yellow flowers. There may also be some C. biflorus in the parentage. It is fairly readily available here in the UK.
