By Andrewr

Allium chrysantherum - 2016 (Allium chrysantherum)

The pale yellow flowers open from red or purple buds. It needs very sharp drainage and to be kept dry in summer.

I have indeed noticed, do you view growing unusual plants as a challenge?

I suppose I do. And it's nice to grow something that no-one else in Bracknell does.

I admire your dedication to giving some of these unusual plants the growing conditions some of these plants need.

Sue - fortunately there are three different soil types in my garden - clay, loam and sandy - so I can usually give anything the conditions it needs.
