Landscape of Texas Sage

Landscape of Texas Sage

Leucophyllym frutescens (Texas Sage) is considered to be one of the strongest shrubs around. It can face droughts, freezes, high winds, salt spray, hungry deer, and full summer sunlight and still remain beautiful. It's blooms after summer rain, covering the bush with white, pink, lavender, purple or blue blossoms for a display that lasts for weeks! There are thousands planted along the highways of Arizona and other southwestern states.

Wow. Sounds like a good shrub to grow in our climate too. Is it hardy to zone 6?
