Oh good....glad you went with my suggestion and hope It works well in the spot by the south facing fence for you.
Sure it will love all the sunshine .
Was it easy to track down at a reasonable price?

Well Paul, none of the garden centres round our way had it in stock, not surprised really, but I found it at a specialist 'Big Plant' nursery about eleven miles North of us. There was a larger specimen for £45, but this was £15 and looks in good condition.

Oh, an advert has just appeared on this page showing them at £19.50 ...

That seems reasonable for that size, and, it ,add a trip out as well! should grow fairly quickly.......wil you just grow the one leader so it's like a small tree or allow other shoots to make it more bushy/shrubby?

Another new purchase Shirley? ☺

Paul, as it's really to screen the view into the garden behind I guess having it more tree-like would be the best option, don't you think?

I only bought one plant today Waddy. Oh, perhaps you mean because I added a Sorbaria to my Garden Page? I've had that a while, just never got round to adding it on the list!

Yes, that's what I thought when suggesting it.........mine was a tall whip and I took off any low shoots.of course it bushed out at the top .

One that's been on our list for years...there is a large one at the bottom of our road, looks stunning when it blooms..... great choice Shirley.
