Tropaeolum polyphyllum - 2017

By Andrewr

Tropaeolum polyphyllum - 2017 (Tropaeolum polyphyllum)

Growing from a tuber and supposedly none too hardy, I have had this for over ten years. Originally it rambled over a prostrate conifer which gave it winter protection, but the conifer outgrew its space and was removed a few years ago.

Nice one. Like the glaucous foliage. Trailing not climbing? Or maybe it can scramble.

Yes, a scrambler sums it up best.

The same colour combination as a Ruta, but loads more flowers. Like these acid colours.
