Love your selection of Aeoniums Karen. This summer my 'blackhead' has huge faces!
Jims garden in Tassie is a sea of Aeoniums with huge golden cones of flowers, that meander down to the shore, perfect for them there, cold winters too..

That sounds incredible Janey. Yes, they don't mind a bit of cold, as long as they are dry. Mine will stay in the greenhouse this year. Mind you, having said that, Annella's died in her garage during the snowy spell in early spring. So perhaps they also need light.

I bring mine into the greenhouse, bubble wrap the pot and when very cold, stem and head. Went to buy grit earlier, to try out the propagation. Probably best done in spring tho?

Hmm...not sure Janey. I have been doing it between June and October without any problems.

I tried to find out the parentage for you Angela, but all it says it that it is a new hybrid. So pretty though and really 'branchy'.
