Calamondin Oranges (Citrus mitis)

Mature oranges and just developing fruit on one of my bushes growing in the conservatory. The fruit is small and slightly bitter.

How lovely to have these. I love the scent of orange blossom.

What do you do with them?

The scent of the blossom fills the conservatory when in bloom.
I crystallise them Dd.

How lovely and a brilliant way to use them ...

I was advised to eat the whole fruit...peal and flesh together. I quite liked it but none of the family did.

Hb, I eat the whole fruit after it has been boiled in sugar. The photo belies the small size of the fruit.

Small enough to pop the whole thing in at once. I haven't tried boiling them in sugar. Mine hasn't any fruit on now but next time it does I shall try it. I once made Calamondin jam, but nobody liked it.
