M'land, I have Coprosma 'Pacific Sunset' in a huge pot facing South in the front garden, loves it there. Another one is in a shadier part of the back garden, planted at the same time, now about two thirds the size of the potted one. What I have noticed is the intense red colour prefers the shade as the one in a sunny spot looks paler. Hope all that makes sense!

I may try again with this shrub.

Just noticed this picture is upside down!!
Meadow it is not in a sheltered part of the garden, sunny, with free drainage, we have a brown one too, which looks like glass!
I am on the look out for Pacific Sunset, Shirley, there are some gorgeous colours out there!

That's interesting DD.... I feel our sunny areas may still be too exposed.... Will have to have another think.

Tried a few times to grow this but seems to be too tender for here... Is it growing in a very sheltered spot DD?
