Very pretty one,Kate.I did have an Escallonia a few years ago,but sadly had to remove it because of disease.

I have the big white one 'Iveyii' and a dwarfing one with big pink flowers, but Apple Blossom is the prettiest I think. :)

Just come in from deadheading and found all my Bowl of Beauty Peonies smashed to the ground due to this rain.

Oh what a real shame Julia. How awful. Bet you were furious. It's been really miserable weather for June. Rain, rain and more rain.

Same here Julia. Alliums and Lupins on the ground, roses snapped, geraniums smashed. Theres only one thing to help...large glass of wine!!

Why did I give it up a year ago, these are the moments when It's necessary!!!

You must feel the same,K,so disappointing.

The weather has definitely destroyed a lot in the garden, broken stems, branches and obliterated flowers. Horrible.
