Sunflower 'Claret'

I have a Sunflower blooming on the balcony my son gave me about 3 months ago as a seedling in a pot. I also have 2 others that were self-sown, (probably dropped by birds), that I didn't pull up. I have no idea what they will be like till they flower. I also pulled out 4-5other seedlings as they had no room to grow where they germinated. The surviving 2,fortunately for them, germinated in pots where I could let them grow.

Blimey Balcony, they could grow to a monstrous height - best warn the folks who live above!!

Lovely......I don't know why we don't grow them.... especially as we both !I've daisy type flowers!!!!

Go for it Dotty ... this one has flopped over after all the rain we had the other day. Raining again now ...

We might just do that next year....
