Hellebore 'Cinnamon Snow'

Hellebore 'Cinnamon Snow'

Holds its flowers upwards, has doubled in size over the year it's been in, and at this time of year, in full bloom.....a treasure!

Thanks Amy, its the softness and the pinkish tinge that appeals.

Thanks Dawn...this one is a cracker. It's right in front of my lounge window, so I can enjoy it daily!

It’s lovely to see one that holds its face up and it’s very pretty too.

Karen, I see yours belongs to the Hellebore Gold Collection. There are some gorgeous ones in the collection aren't there.

11 Jan, 2020

There are Dawn. But I’m not sure where they are sold now.

11 Jan, 2020

Oh! Primrose seem to have the whole collection! My Acer griseum from there came yesterday. Its not bad. Quite pleased with it.

11 Jan, 2020

Yes primrose is where I saw them and Hilliers.
I was going to ask you about the griseum, I’m glad it’s ok as they are a lot more expensive elsewhere

I'm feeling a little better again today, so I shall get out and get it planted and then I can show you. :)

Yes please. Let's hope youre coming to the end of the dreaded lurgy

Yes Karen looking forward to seeing it......

I managed 2.5 hours of proper gardening in the sunshine! I must be getting better! Removed a Berberis and split some plants to replace that, potted up two trees and tidied up all the mess. Couldn’t decide on a spot for the Acer, so its in a big pot for now. Still coughing, but definitely on the mend. It was such a lovely day, I really had to get outdoors. Thanks very much for your kindness everyone. Xxx

Don't you feel better for being outdoors! Except for the constant running nose that I got. Did you buy the Acer bare root? I really fancy one of the Hellebore gold collection from Primrose but £24.99! They are 2 feet and 4.5l pot though.

Lovely show of hellebore flowers, Karen! A real beauty! I’ll have to get out and take some pics too. Saturday here was horrible, bright and dry, but the winds were gale force!
Today, it rained quite heavily first thing, everything was pretty wet and muddy. I was looking forward to carrying on tasks I’d started last weekend! Fingers crossed for the coming weekend.

Dawn, no, it was in a pot. pretty small...will be a long long time before it looks like anything. Yes...runny nose and muddy hands...not a great combo! :)

Its very dark and foreboding here today Kate....I hope we don't get those terrible winds over on this side of the UK. I'm so glad I don't live in the West! But I have friends over there and I hope they don't get too much damage.
