Tulipa marjolettii - 2020

By Andrewr

Tulipa marjolettii - 2020 (Tulipa marjolettii)

A tulip that naturalised in France at the end of the 19th century but is now probably extinct outside gardens. Typically one to one and a half feet tall, the petals take on red tints at the edges as the flowers open

Love the shape and the tinge of red at the lower petals.
