Super photo. Yes there are lots of different species of bumble bees. They can withstand lower temperatures than the ordinary honey bee because of their furry coat.

yes there are aren't there. Daughter 'threatens' to induct me into the realm of bee identification. She has one of the definitive guides on their id, it was a leaving gift when she finished her placement in Wales.
