Clematis 'Prince George'

That's a pretty white one, love it!

It's tucked away in a corner. The birch beside it has grown enormous so it is quite overshadowed and not very easy to see. I'm a bit nervous about moving it in case it dies on me!

I'm just about to move and divide the Arabella clematis. Wish me luck.Where it is planted it does seem miserable and I've only just realised it doesn't like climbing and would be happier in a large container. There it can scramble.

Are you like me in that every year I say "I must cut back the number of containers" and then just end up with more of them, M'land? They do make lots of extra work that's for sure. But what can you do??

It's always a problem when we go away, Ang...the containers are placed all around,mainly in the back,not suitable for automatic watering.
