Deep pink climbing rose.

My one and only rose in the garden. It’s fragrance is quite lovely..and it’s abundantly producing flowers. The bees are quite attached!

Thanks Anget, to be honest, I cannot find the label - I bought it quite a few years ago. It seems to be climbing quite a bit, but, the fence is quite small at the top of the rockery which delineates between this and the bund hill. It tends to flop over/hang. Although it doesn’t seem to bothered by this. I’ve pinned some of the stems back. It flowers quite abundantly every year, for quite some months. I actually pruned it quite hard last autumn.
I do wish I knew the name..
Thank you Paul, I do love when the flowers age a little, they tend to look their best. Plus the bees have better access too!

That's a great colour, Kate. I can see why the bees would be attached, it's very open. Looks very much like the old rosa mundi, but that's not a climber and it only flowers once. Do you know its name?
