Wild violas

are pushing through where the Winter aconites (Eranthis ) bloomed just few weeks ago. I can sure smell them when walking by. They are tough and hard to pull out. Especially from pots I did not plant them in.

I have the same issue with self sown ones but they do look pretty.

I keep a little vase in the bathroom and bring a bunch in this time of the year.It is still too cold to sit outside. They are replaced by lily of the valley later in the season. Also creeping everywhere.
