Thanks both. I have just read that this is native to the Canary Islands, somewhere I would quite like to be right now! Just watered the garden and it's not warm out there (8pm) at all . . . :o(

It really does look pretty planted in the pot, Shirley. It does have a very Mediterranean style to it..
OH watered earlier and then left the sprinkler on..
It’s not too bad here at the minute, popped out to check on some seedlings. 8.20pm.

Kate, the long range forecast shows no rain. We are having so many birds coming in for a drink from the bird baths now, Magpies, Pigeons, Robins, Blackbirds to name just a few. Yesterday there was even a Sparrowhawk sitting on the fence for a couple of minutes!

lovely plant. I used to have it but the winter 2010/2011 put paid to it.

I was told to shelter it over Winter so it can live in the unhated greenhouse . . . if I still have a greenhouse by then!

Oh my, I hadn't noticed my spelling error!

I am having issues about keeping the greenhouse as I am finding sowing seeds, taking cuttings etc., etc. all a little bit too much, along with all the other jobs required to keep a garden from becoming a jungle. I love gardening, don't get me wrong, but am becoming frustrated at how much needs to be done.

The greenhouse has some very mucky polycarbonate panels, the one top window doesn't fasten securely and now Bindweed from next door is popping up through the gravel floor . . . :o(
