Soft pink Sea pink

I love thrift/sea pinks or Armeria maritima to give it it's scientific name.
Where I grew up, this was a common plant on the cliff edges.

Its common and glorious on the cliffs here too, but failed in the garden.
There used to be a giant version - wonder if you can still get it.

I’ve two coming out now on the rockery, the deeper pink sea thrift. This is a nice one, Eileen.. like a pale amethyst colour.
