That's what the petal fall reminds me of. Although used in municipal planting a lot, I still really like it. Well-behaved and useful small shrub.

They grow very enthusiastically in this garden, Meadow, despite it being on clay. Mind you, it does dry out really rapidly.

I love them, but, my white one came out last year Ange..reluctantly..it was huge! I tried pruning it back but I sort of damaged it I think..
